Dancing Venues 2018

This year we are introducing several new dance venues including two covered wooden floors for clog/step/rapper and other dancers.

 

Venue tithe 1Tithe Barn:  Our main venue, in front of the town’s spectacular 14th century Tithe Barn,  Two separate dancing areas on well compacted gravel.

:  Next to the Tithe Barn and a popular children’s play area on the river bank near the Packhorse Bridge paddling area and picnic spot. Dancing on a tarmac track. Soak your tired feet in the river!

Victory Field (next to the Tithe Barn):  A large marquee with a wooden dance floor and seating next to the bars and food stalls.

The Three Horseshoes: Popular music pub next to the railway station with dancing on a level concrete surface in their back garden.

Venue timbrellsTimbrell’s Yard:  A town centre restaurant with dancing on well compacted gravel overlooking the church and river.

Venue westbury 1venue westbury 2Westbury Gardens:  A very visible park in the centre of town alongside the river with a cafe and tourist information. There will be two dance spots here. D7. “Under The Tree” with a dancing surface of good level paving slabs under the giant riverside tree overlooking the Town Bridge.. D8 “Clog Dancing Stage” a small covered wooden stage for clog and other dancers.

The Swan Hotel: Level area of tarmac behind the hotel at the foot of the Town Bridge.

Venue LambsLamb’s Yard:  A well paved square in the centre of town surrounded by cafes, restaurants shops and more shops. Dancing is in front of Pablo’s Tapas Bar.

venue weavingThe Weaving Shed & Sebastien’s Bistro:  Off Lamb’s Yard. A large well paved area outside these restaurants overlooking the river with a fabulous view of the town bridge.

Bridge Landing (well it will be when they build the footbridge) A large well paved area outside Grounded Restaurant next to the river.
